Our recorded service for Palm Sunday 2021 was led by Reverend David Payne with an address from Reverend Anne Barker. The stirring All Glory Laud & Honour and Ride On Ride On in Majesty are sung for us by the St Martins Singers. On 21 March 2021 Reverend David brought us Morning Worship from the Churchyard at Pulloxhill. John Parks read from the Bible and Martyn Gates led the intercessions.
Our All Age Worship Service for Mothering Sunday 2021 was based on the theme ‘What Makes a Good Mother?’ Rev David Payne and Lay Leader of Worship Maggie Jeeves led the service, there was hymns to sing a long with, a dramatised reading of ‘And God created mothers’ by Irma Bombeck – ‘A Fault in the Design?’ and an interview with a new Mum as well as young Niamh reading from the Bible.
Our service for 7 March 2021 was based around The Ten Commandments. Rev David Payne led our worship and Reader Roy Pinnock shared his thoughts on the relevance of the Commandments in this day and age.
Our Morning Worship for Sunday 28 February 2021 was about God’s Promise to Abraham and was recorded in St John the Baptist, Flitton. The Intercessions were recorded in the De Grey Mausoleum – an English Heritage site attached to the Church.
Our theme for 21 February 20212 was God’s Covenant with Noah. Rev Anna Garvie led the service and Rev David Payne gave the address. The Bible Reading was by Hilary Parks.
Our service for Ash Wednesday was recorded at St James the Great, Silsoe and is led by Rev David Payne. Rev Anne Barker gives the address and Nick Thompson reads from the Bible.
The theme for our service for 14 February 2021 was Light Out of Darkness. Rev David Payne led the service with Jo Payne reading from the Bible and Jo Holt leading the Intercessions. The service was recorded at St John the Baptist, Flitton.
Our service on 7 February 2021 was recorded at St James the Great, Silsoe. The theme was ‘Above All, Christ’ and rather than a sermon Rev Payne talked with Dr Chris Nixon about his faith. Intercessions were by Alan Aldridge and Gilly Nixon read from the Bible.
