The Ten Commandments – 7 March 2021

The ten commandments

Our service for 7 March is based around The Ten Commandments. Rev David Payne leads our worship and Reader Roy Pinnock shares his thoughts on the relevance of the Commandments in this day and age. Simon Stranks reads from the Bible and Jo Payne leads the intercessions.

Our hymns and anthems are sung for us by the singers and musicians from St Martins in the Fields, the Royal School of Church Music and Kevin Mayhew Ltd.

You are welcome to watch the service at any time, but the suggested worship time for our Virtual Congregation is 10am on Sunday 7 March.

Click on the buttons below to see the Order of Service and to watch the Service on YouTube – each will open in a new window.

At the end of the service, you’ll find information about our family Lent activities and our plans for next week’s Mothering Sunday Service.  We’ve got some downloadable pdfs for the younger members of our congregation – a Mother’s Day card to colour in and a ‘Recipe for My Mum’ to create with pictures and words to cut out and add to the recipe – along with your own words and pictures.  Click on each picture to download.  (If you don’t have access to a printer and would like a pack, please email VirtualVicar@3churches.uk)

If you would like to take part in one of our services, maybe by reading from the Bible or leading the prayers, please contact Rev David on 01525 864858 or vicar@3churches.uk
