Our Morning Worship for Sunday 28 February is about God’s Promise to Abraham and was recorded in St John the Baptist, Flitton. The Intercessions were recorded in the De Grey Mausoleum – an English Heritage site attached to the Church.
Our theme for this week’s service is God’s Covenant with Noah. Rev Anna Garvie leads the service and Rev David Payne gives the address. The Bible Reading is by Hilary Parks. The theme for our service for 14 February is Light Out of Darkness. Rev David leads the service with Jo Payne reading from the Bible and Jo Holt leading the Intercessions. The service was recorded at St John the Baptist, Flitton.
Our service for 7 February was recorded at St James the Great, Silsoe. The theme is ‘Above All, Christ’ and rather than a sermon Rev Payne talks with Dr Chris Nixon about his faith. Intercessions are by Alan Aldridge and Gilly Nixon reads from the Bible.
Our service this week looks at Faith in Later Life and we meet Simeon and Anna. The service was recorded at St James the Apostle, Pulloxhill with our Readers Gillian Kern & Roy Pinnock and Lay Leader of Worship Maggie Jeeves. We’ve got music from a variety of sources including St Martins in the Field and the Royal School of Church Music.
The theme for our service for Sunday 24 January is The Marriage at Cana. Rev Anne Barker leads the service which was recorded at St John the Baptist, Flitton. Margaret Butt leads the intercessions and Jo Holt reads the Gospel. Music is provided by Kevin Mayhew Ltd and the Royal School of Church Music and St Martins in the Field.
