God’s Promise to Abraham – 28 February 2021

God' Promise to Abraham

Our Morning Worship for Sunday 28 February is about God’s Promise to Abraham and was recorded in St John the Baptist, Flitton.

The service is led by Rev David Payne with Reader Gillian Kern giving the address and Clare Butler-Ellis reading from the Bible.

Margaret Butt leads the Intercessions and these were recorded in the De Grey Mausoleum which is an English Heritage site attached to Flitton Church. In ‘normal’ times, the Mausoleum is open to the public on one or two days a month during the summer so here’s a chance to see some of the inside of it.

Music this week is from the singers and musicians of St Martins in the Field and the Royal School of Church Music.

Click on the buttons below to see the Order of Service and watch the service on YouTube – each will open in a new window.

You are welcome to watch the service at any time, but the suggested worship time for our Virtual Congregation is 10am on Sunday 28 February.

At the end of the service you will find information about the Church of England’s #LiveLent.

If you would like to take part in one of our services, maybe by reading from the Bible or leading the prayers, please contact Rev David on 01525 864858 or vicar@3churches.uk
