Morning Worship – Palm Sunday 2021

Palm Sunday 2021

Our service for Palm Sunday is led by Reverend David Payne with an address from Reverend Anne Barker. The reading is by Jo Payne. It was recorded in the Vicarage Garden and at Silsoe Church.

The stirring All Glory Laud & Honour and Ride On Ride On in Majesty are sung for us by the St Martins Singers.

You are welcome to watch the service at any time. There will be a live Palm Sunday service at 10am in Flitton Churchyard, so you may wish to watch this service at the same time to join virtually with the other congregation.

Click on the buttons below to see a copy of the Service Sheet and to watch the service on YouTube – each will open in a new window.

We are moving towards a return to live worship in our churches, although we will continue to offer some recorded services – you can find more details on the Benefice Services page.

When we recorded the Palm Sunday service for 2020, we didn’t think that a year on we’d still be recording services – here’s a link to Palm Sunday 2020, one of the first services we recorded for the Virtual Vicar.  Have the Virtual Vicar recordings  helped you during the past year? What have you liked? Not liked? What would you like to see from the Virtual Vicar as our churches gradually re-open? Your observations will help us as we plan how to continue to offer some form of recorded worship along with live services – please email your thoughts to VirtualVicar@3churches.uk
