Monthly Said BCP Communion – Fridays

Starting 28 January 2022, we will be having a Said Communion service from the Book of Common Prayer once a month on a Friday. Everyone for all 3 parishes is warmly welcomed to join us.

There will be a Benefice meeting with Bishop Richard and Archdeacon Dave on Wednesday 12th January at 7.30 pm in Silsoe Church to to seek as many views as possible about people’s thoughts about what has happened as well as thinking going forward following the departure of Rev David Payne

Our night time service for Christmas Eve with Rev Anne Barker . Liz Shortland reads the story of Jesus’ birth, Margaret Butt leads our prayers and Maggie Jeeves sings Silent Night. Other carols are sung by the St Martin’s Voices and Katie Ritson.

A Virtual Carol Service for 2021 with Rev Anna Garvie and members of the congregations from Flitton, Pulloxhill & Silsoe. Inspired by the Stations of the Cross, this service encourages you to reflect on the events that led up to the wonderful birth of our Saviour and to listen and join in with the carols.

Open Church & Holy Communion (BCP)

Starting in the New Year, the 4th Friday of each month will be an open morning at Flitton Church. We will start at 10am with a short said service of Holy Communion using the traditional BCP words.

Christmas is coming and all the indications are that for many families it will be very difficult to put food on the table. To help these families in need, the Food Banks will be working flat out to get food to them – your support is vital this Christmas.
