													Confirmation Service – Spring 2026
Confirmation is a special service in which a person confirms the promises that were made when they were baptised. In the Spring 2026, the Benefice will be hosting a Confirmation service with Bishop Richard in Silsoe Church. Rev Olivia will be running preparation sessions for young people (aged 9 or above) to think about what confirmation is and what it means for them.
Adults may also wish to be confirmed and preparation for them will be bespoke. Please speak to any of the Ministry Team to find out more.
													‘Wrap Up’ – Coats Wanted
The Rotary Club of Barton Le Clay are collecting new or second-hand coats for women, men, young people and kids. These should be coats you would be happy to receive – dirty coats with missing buttons or broken zips aren’t nice for anyone.
Where will the coats go? To charities working with the homeless, night shelters, women’s refuges and families in crisis.
There’s a collection point in Silsoe Church porch and also in the Sports Centre and Lower School

2 November 2025 – Remember with Love
We have Remember with Love services at Pulloxhill (11am), at Silsoe (3pm) and at Flitton (5pm) on 2 November 2025.
This is an opportunity to remember loved ones who died recently or long ago, to give thanks for their lives and to light a candle for them.
There is no need to give names of loved ones in advance if you are coming on the day, as you will be able to give their names then. However, if you would like the name of a loved one(s) read in the service and you will not be there, you are welcome to give the names in advance by phoning 01525 643478 and leaving a message for the vicars.
