Alban Pilgrimage Eucharist on Sunday, 21 June
This week our Virtual Vicar is taking a break – instead we are inviting our Virtual Congregation to join with a wider community to celebrate the Alban Pilgrimage Eucharist at 10 am on Sunday 21 June. The service, which celebrates Alban, Britain’s first saint, will feature other churches from around the world that have links to Alban as well as contributions from Rev Richard Coles, parish priest, broadcaster and former Communard. If you would prefer to watch a recorded service, Virtual Vicar services from previous weeks are still available.
Matins Service for Sunday 28 June 2020
Our Matins Service is led by Readers Gillian Kern and Roy Pinnock, with readings from Sarah and Richard Colwell and hymns from Face2Face and men from the chapel at HMP The Mount. Eucharist Service for Sunday 5 July 2020
On Sunday 5 July, we have a ‘Together Eucharist’ celebrating 72 years of the NHS. Our service is led by Rev Anne Barker with a sermon from the Bishop of Bedford and Intercessions by our Reader Roy Pinnock. Songs of Praise
Our Songs of Praise service features 6 rousing hymns and 6 Bible readings. It is led by our Lay Leaders of Worship, Maggie Jeeves and Margaret Butt. Members of our 3 Churches Choir chose and read the readings. Simon Stranks transcribed the music.
