Food Banks
Silsoe – Non-perishable donations are collected at 1 Bedford Avenue and 10 Yew Tree Close and in Silsoe Church porch. Please contact Jill Liddle on 01525 860117 for further information. Please make your donation before 7pm on Friday 19 March
Flitton Church has a box for non-perishable food donations in the Church Porch, which is always open.
Items which are always welcome include tinned rice pudding; tinned spaghetti and ravioli; tinned vegetables such as tomatoes, sweetcorn, carrots; tinned ,eat such as ham, corned beef, beef and onions, chicken in sauce, curries, chilli, pasta sauces and bakes; long life milk in cartons.; toiletries such as soap and toothpaste.
Every single item donated will someone.
